At Cerdas Berdaya Foundation, our after-school program is designed to strengthen early literacy and numeracy skills in children. We focus on creating a supportive and enriching learning environment that encourages children to explore basic reading and math concepts. By providing dedicated time outside of regular school hours, we ensure that children receive the additional academic support they need to build a strong foundation in these essential areas.
The hallmark of our program is the use of engaging, hands-on activities to promote literacy and numeracy development. Held twice a week for two hours, the sessions introduce children to fundamental skills in a fun and interactive way. Activities such as alphabet and number tracing help children improve their handwriting and basic counting skills, while storytime and word games foster a love for reading. Math puzzles, counting games, and creative arts and crafts are also incorporated to reinforce both early math and language skills. These interactive sessions not only help children grasp new concepts but also nurture their curiosity and confidence, equipping them with the tools they need for long-term academic success.
